| Motors are low voltage, three-phase asynchronous, squirrel cage induction in frame sizes from IEC 63 to 250 |
| Construction Types: Foot mounted, flange mounted and foot mounted with flange motors available in all frame sizes. |
| Protection: Standard protection degrees are IP 54 and IP 55. |
| Bearings: Standard motors are equipped with deep groove ball bearings with ZZ shields. |
| Shaft End: Motor shafts have tapped holes in the drive end according to DIN 332-2 and key / keyways according to DIN 6885 / 1. Motors are delivered with keys. |
| Cooling Fan: Fans are made of synthetic material which is resistant to high temperatures and the construction allows rotation in both directions. |
| Paint: Standard motors are painted in RAL 6011 green shade paint. |
| Construction Details |
| Stator Frame: Motor frames are manufactured by high pressure die casting of aluminium alloy which is light, resistant to corrosion and mechanical shocks; and also has excellent thermal conductivity. |
| Feet: For frame sizes 90 – 250, the feet are detachable and this feature provides flexibility for different mounting types. |
| Endshields: Normal endshields and flanges up to and including frames size 132 are manufactured from die cast aluminium. For larger frame sizes flanges are made of cast iron. Bearing bores are reinforced with steel or cast iron sleeves in aluminium endsheilds. Endshield construction is suitable for mounting oil seal or dust seal. |
| Terminal Box: For frame sizes 63 – 80 the terminal box is on the right hand side as seen from the drive end. For larger frame sizes it is on the top and close to the drive end. |
